The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will release the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 today, June 9. As per the SSC Exam Calendar 2025, the application process will start today on the official website – ssc.gov.in. The last date to apply is July 4, 2025.
Important Exam Dates
- Tier-I Exam (Computer-Based): August 13 to August 30, 2025 (tentative)
- Tier-II Exam: December 2025 (tentative)
Vacancies and Posts
The full list of vacancies will be available in the notification. The posts will be under Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ across various central government ministries, departments, tribunals, and constitutional bodies.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates who have completed graduation from any recognised university can apply.
- Application Fee: ₹100 for general category male candidates
- Fee Exempted For: Female candidates, SC, ST, and Ex-Servicemen

- Click on “New User? Register Now”
- Enter your basic details to generate a registration ID and password
- Log in using these credentials
- Fill in the complete form and upload required documents
- Review and submit the form
- Pay the application fee, if applicable
Exam Pattern and Selection
The SSC CGL 2025 selection process will have two main computer-based tests:
- Tier-I: Screening stage
- Tier-II: For final selection
After clearing the exams, selected candidates will go through document verification by the respective departments.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
- Unreserved: 30%
- OBC and EWS: 25%
- Other Categories: 20%
